I rate it 5.
9/5 good observation. I did not like the computer imagery, scene back drop. All fake. Also, I got a kick out of the fact as they were leaving to go fight the battle all they had on was their loin cloth, spear or sword, shield and cape. Where was the logistical supply train, so to speak. What does a army run off of? Dirt and Rocks. Thats Hollywood, Folks. I guess they couldn't afford the extra's. Darn! over priced Hollywood studios union laborers. ( :

Just watched Sideways again....Thomas Haden Church, Paul Giamati, Sandra Oh and Virginia Madsen......just a really good movie. I like seeing the places they drive by....it's the places I've gone to also.

Just a good date night movie.

We went to see Super Bad, it was our 20 year old daughter's idea...

That movie is really funny, in a super crude way. If you don't mind lots of really bad language and can tolerate another coming of age movie storyline then you may really like this movie too. It reminded me of Fast Times at Ridgemont High, except with much more profane language...

I really liked it but I can't caution you enough about the crude humor. If you're offended by profanity or jokes about sex then you need to skip this one.

Watched "We Are Marshall". Very good. feel good movie. Of course I could look at Matthew Mc. all day.....except this is a 1970's period and his plaid suits are too funny.

Watched "Even Money". It was a big ensemble cast trying to accomplish what "Crash" did a few years back. They didn't make it. The movie is just okay.

Just finished watching "You Kill Me"......with Tea Leoni, Ben Kingsley, Bill Pullman & Luke Wilson. Very Quirky movie, but I liked it. Lots of AA meetings in it and the Serenity Prayer was totally turned upside down....wish I could remember how they said it, but I was laughing too hard.

Ben Kingsley plays a hit man who is too drunk to do his job properly. He does AA so he can get sober and kill folks again.....he lets this be known at an AA meeting.......do they really want him well , after hearing that???

If you like "quirky", you'll like this movie.

Thumbs down Re: movie review

Just watched Ocean's 13. Well, the first thirty minutes anyhow. I pulled the plug on my headset on the plane... The rest just wasn't even worth watching. What a useless, dumb movie.

Rating...

Rest of the flight... :sleep1:

The wife and I went and saw "Heart break kid" with Ben Stiller. A remake or update of the 1972, "Heart break kid". The movie was just OK. It wasn't good enough to see twice. One particular phrase that I thought was hilarous was when they referred to pot as being the "Devils Lettuce". LMAO That's the first I've heard it used like that. Also when they are driving to their honeymoon destination she sings every song on the radio. Knows them by heart. Stiller is going insane. Its a long drive. LOL

Movie: Cloverfield

Save your money and don't ever see this movie, or take someone that you hate. The constant camera motion me feel sea sick and gave Tony a headache. We just got home from the theater and I still feel kind of queasy...

We saw the movie with our 21 year old daughter and her boyfriend.

We watched "Vantage Point" last night. I think it was a smartly made movie.....not the same old thing like so many movies today.

It stars Dennis Quaid who I think is pretty good looking, but he looks bad in this movie. It's like they forgot the make-up. Anyway, I like the concept and found it to be quick moving and interesting. You have to pay attention so you don't mix up the characters.

We just watched it this weekend. Unfortunately I fell asleep so now I have to watch it again. Bummer! I think Will Smith is one of the best actors of this day. He is so versatile.

Not yet. I want to see the new Hellboy also. Have you seen 3:10 to Yuma? Great movie. The last 'Bourne' was great also. I think it might even be the best of the Bourne series. There are a bunch of new movies out that I want to see. New being in the last year.

I saw Iron Man. I rarely watch anything in the action adventure area and I must admit I throughly enjoyed it. Good story line to set off all the crazy CGI stuff. Sit through the credits for the sneak peak at the end.
