The big thing about movies is to remember what they are trying to be. Not every movie can be Citizen Kane

And Cach, I am sorry but I demand that every movie be as good as Citizen Kane. What is it to you if I set myself up for disappointment on a continual basis?
Rosebud biatch!

Rent "Blood, the last vampire" last night. Fun combo of vampire hunters and samurai.

Actually, I have not seen that movie since it came out and don't remember Artie's role in it.

Maybe it`s because I have so much time to listen to every show that I see the pattern of it coming back around 360 with the same guests and subject material. I have to say I have found Bubba the Love Sponge to be a better show lately.

I have the best of XM so I switch off to Opie and Anthony or Ron and Fez when I am done with Howard.
I tried listening to Bubba but could not get into the show.

I thought maybe I was confusing "Beer League" with this movie

We watched most of it and I still like it.......even though we've had big advances in technology since 1983, we have not had the same growth in writing.......so, this remains a good story.

I got a little history lesson and Paul Giamatti was outstanding as John Adams, the second president of the U.S. and the most outspoken member of the revolution. What an amazing actor. I've always liked his roles but I have a new found respect for his abilities now. Also found out he is the son of the late baseball commissioner, A. Bartlett Giamatti!

I would hope that story would end with his enshrinement in Cooperstown.

I was told: "This will be the funniest movie that you've ever seen"
It was funny, but not #1.
The last scene with Al's BJ was really low class.
I say that because there were young (13+) kids in the Theatre. (Rated R, but they were there) |

Let's just say "blowie" is the new term around our house. My wife wishes she never would have made me watch it with her!

It was funny, but I think on a scale of 1-10, I give it a 3.
Good thing it was cheap |

Actually very good if you want a break from action films and comedies. The french pretty much wrote the book on character driven film making.
