I hear you Brownmonster. I'm from Arkansas.There will be numerous job losses b/c of the Walmart switch to FedEx. We retained 50% of the volume from the Bentonville facility. Most of the switch was due to pricing. I think part of the switch was simply that Walmart didn't want to give UPS so much volume. We have lost numerous corporate accounts here based on decisions that are always made out of state. The shipping dept. employees of the lost accounts never want to see the relationship break with UPS. My point is that we're getting beat by reasons other than service. The UPS personnel, from account specialists to drivers ,are delivering. The accounts are being lost due to decisions made on the corporate level. Whether the reason is politics or economics that is the true "battleground" not service. This has to be addressed by the Board of Directors and the Founding Families or it can stop us. CJJohn
