Thanks. | Is a Center Dispatch Specialist the same job as a full-time supervisor that dispatches routes with PAS/EDD? Mine comes in about 3AM and goes home at noon. He also is in charge of EAM dispatch. |

Truth be told though I believe the main problem is lack of training more than anything. Typical PAS/Edd implementation. Swoop in, turn everything upside down and then leave. The poor person that is left to be the specialist isn't one at all and would no doubt love to retire if he could. It's a thankless job. |

The job description of a "dispatch specialist" most assuredly will be: Perform the same job as the supervisor you are replacing with half the knowledge (by the way, what is half of none) and at half the pay.
