Default question about MIP

If you were to leave UPS at anytime after Oct 1 but before the Dec. 7 when they hand you the actual bonus, are you still entitled to it. The reason I am asking is because I was there for the whole year (Oct 1, 2006 - Sep. 30, 2007) the period for which the MIP is awarded. I'm thinking probably yes, but goodluck trying to get it.

MIP is not automatic - you have to be recommended by your department or division manager.

I've seen in the past people leave in November and not get the MIP. PS, even if you were to get it, you are only getting 1/2 of it with the rest vesting over 5 years. If you leave, all that MIP will be gone and you don't get it.
