I'm sure that feature will be route specific (hospitals are a good example as well as certain government offices like Navy Med, NIH, etc; turning off GPS without permission could land someone in hot water.

Isn't the whole truck aluminum?? Well, not the roof of the box end, Lol.

You can't "turn off" GPS tracking. A GPS system is a receiver. It does not transmit or broadcast any electromagnetic waves. The GPS unit receives transmission signals from usually about 5 or 6 satellites at any one time on it's civilian frequency, and from usually about 4 or 5 at any one time on it's Department of Defense frequency. The satellites are sending the signals, not your GPS unit. Your location is determined through a system of triangulation recorded by your Earth-based GPS unit. To "become invisible", you would need to locally broadcast at these two radio frequencies to overwhelm the satellite signals. What you really are doing when you think you are turning off your GPS unit is actually shutting down your radio transmitter (which can also be used to determine your location, albeit much less precisely than a GPS system.)
