I’m on disability-am I still covered under my health/dental insurance plan?

Ive been on disability and out of work for over a month now due to a recent surgery. Am I still covered so I can go to a regular dental appt.?

Who should I talk to abut this?

What type of disability? If it was workers comp, yes you are covered. and in many other cases you should be covered as well. But unless you provide more information, hard to tell. also, some areas of the country are different with the rules than others. So knowing where you are would help as well.

I think it depends on how many hours you worked before you went out? Call your local and they can tell you how far out you are covered.

In our area your insurance is paid two months out. So you would be covered for two months or more.

As I said, it depends on the situtation.
