Skilled or Unskilled

Can somebody explain the criteria for skilled or unskilled pay for sorters. We just became classified as a large center and I am now wondering if we will be eligible to become certified to become skilled and therefore get the extra buck an hour. I already asked our supervisor and was told it won't happen but I want to know if I am entitled to it. Thanks for any info.

If you have passed the test and worked 35 hrs (2 weeks of getting atleast your 3.5 hrs) in the aisle you are entitled to your dollar permanently
