That said, the answer to your question is a big NO. Does that mean that it happens? Yes it does. Should it happen? No.

The whole premise is that you might treat somebody with "favoritism" which while it does happen if you aren't dating the person, is highly discouraged.

If you have knowledge of it, confront the individuals in question and then report it to your ERM or call the 800 number if it continues to happen.

Sometimes things can be misunderstood, which is why it's best to always confront somebody when wrong doing is suspected.

its a pickle for whoever the management person is even if just going out in a social setting with hourlies....because it can be perceived as favoritism by other hourlies its all or nothing.. so that being said its really hard and expensive to date all the employees so just dont do it lol

I would never report anyone for dating anyone, that simply is not my business. Now IF I knew of favoritism , THAT I would report. I am pretty sure I have seen people get promotions they were not qualified for because of "sleeping up".

Why would anyone want to date a management person in the first place? They are such

at work, I can't imagine them being sunshine and kittens socially.

Yea you COULD try to cover it up, but ive heard stories of a DV see one of his managers out with a hrly out on the town(it was known they were seeing eachother the DV had a come to Jesus talk with him and said pretty much shes not worth losing all youve worked for and it would be best if you didnt see her) he sat him down again and asked if he was seeing her and he said no and thats all she wrote for him

Theres always someone somewhere thatll see you and report back, and if your buildings anything like ours, they already know, waiting for you to say something or it to affect job performance

hehehehe this post has gotten Tie and 9.5 back together again. It will be a good year at UPS.

We too had a full time sup step out on his wife with a part timers wife. They were best of friends, went to the lake together etc. Busted them at a hotel room.

The sup got transfered to another center close by, then eventually came back to push EDD onto the center. Let one good screw up get followed by another. Thats the UPS way.

The only other one I knew about was a part time clerk and a driver got married. She ended up quiting, and he got fired for inflating stops.
