Our center was improving over some time, but we were always finding air in the catch cages and elsewhere when we walked our belts. Our f/t supe would always ask us if we walked our belts, checked the catch cages before the drivers left. We would always say yes. A few times after the building was pretty much empty I would take empty NDA letters and put them in the catch cages. I would wait til I saw our f/t in the area then pretend to find about 8 NDA letters. The reaction was always priceless. |

I once took a big stack of empty letters and put it on the beginning of shelf one when the driver had a 8 hour request in, had him going till he looked at EDD. Same guy "forgot" to get to a store that closes receiving at 9 so I strapped a pile of the send agains into the jump seat to remind him. |

another one for you guys. Obviously we all have radios at work to communicate. Well after a year or so I could do some good imitations of some of the other p/t supes. One day a f/t started asking for p/t supe in charge of bulk to move it off his belt. I did my best impersonation and told him "no, you aren't my f/t and you can't tell me what to do." Obviously, the f/t started to get upset. This went on for about 3-5 minutes before the actual bulk supe got on the radio and said someone was impersonating him.
Later that morning, I ran into the f/t supe who was calling for the bulk supe and we had a good laugh over it. He said it was a pretty good impersonation. |

Anyway, the crap on the sides was on tight, so I used pot. permanganate. For those of you that are chemically challenged, when it mixes with water, it gets a deep dark purple look, then as the chemical is used up, it turns a dirty brown.
Anyway, on bare skin, it will give you the darkest tan, about 100 times what you could get in the sun. Actually makes your skin turn much darker than Obama's if you catch my drift.
Or doors to the managment offices has a small glass area, not very large at all. And all the sups desks face the door to where they can all see it.
Anyway, with the rest of me out of sight, I knocked on the door, and using the browned hand, flipped them a bird. OF course they ran outside trying to find the person that had flipped them off, and by that time, I had pocketed my hand.
I guess I could have been guilty of starting a racial incident..........But there was no one to be found that matched the description near the door.

Take a new pad of info notices..flip about halfway through..and draw a "nice" picture or write a "nice" note Then leave the pad for a random unsuspecting coworker to eventually discover..

At a really fast moving part, if ya know what I mean. I know who did it, and never told. Everyone left laughing and chuckled for days. Even the CM. And no accidents or injuries. It was nice seeing everyone laughing when leaving, and no one got all indignant and offended as today someone surely would. It was a joke. Nothing more. |

I always thought it would be funny to take a screenshot of the dispatch screen that shows how many stops there are on each truck, photoshop it so they are all way in the red, and make it the screensaver. Then hide the mouse/keyboard. It would be worth it to see all the drivers flip out when they see it. |

He will change the screen from stops to pkgs but leave the dispatch plan in place which, of course, shows the planned day in stops. Every driver is in the red and they all go scrambling to find him.

I left the camera on the slide for a few minutes next to my clipboard an came back to find a picture of one of my loaders a$$es on it. We all had a good laugh over it.
I took the photo and hid it in my f/t briefcase who was on vacation. It was even funnier hen about a week later he came out of the office with the photo laughing |

Once, just once I was asked for a safety tip to end the PCM, before thinking it through I blurted out" Always use a condom!".... Everyone laughed, ...well except the CM, He was no fun at all.
