How was the driver able to see him viewing the porn? Obviously the shades were open and its quite possible that there were kids outside who could possibly see this.

This family has nothing better to do than look at porn during the day and spend time on the phone complaining that they didnt think the driver knocked?

Real hard to come to a real anwer without knowing the whole story but if i saw kids looking in someones window as they were beating off to porn i would also speak up.

What if this 19 year old was looking at child porn???? That would bother me if I happened to see an adult in the middle of the day looking at that.

What did the driver say? The concern was regarding the "no knock", not the confrontation. I didn't say anything to the driver, but I did put a note in CPaD that said "knock or ring bell". Well, he saw the note yesterday and asked to speak to me outside this morning. He volunteered information that I had not shared with him - told me basically the same thing this lady told me, except he included that it bothered his spirit to see this "kid" viewing porn so blatantly and without remorse. I rarely tell drivers what people tell me because the majority of it is blown out of proportion or just flat out BS.

I didn't really say much about it, tried to stay on topic and all. I thought it was interesting that he brought the whole story to my attention, almost verbatim of what the customer had said. He also added that as a parent of a teenager, he would want to know if his child was doing something inappropriate. His take on it was that he preferred to leave the package (no knock) rather than risk seeing this kid viewing porn again. I told him I wasn't asking him to wait for a sig, just knock as he's walking away and don't look back.

This "kid" is 19. You should have told him to **** and mind his own business. I don't think watching porn is inappropriate for a 19 year old. Quite the contrary, I'd be worried if they didn't. Tell that shmuck to push his morals on his own family and leave other people alone.

I may be wrong, but I don't think there is a requirement to knock or ring the doorbell at a DR stop. It's a courtesy for the driver to do so. I have looked through 2 methods booklets, and it doesn't address knocking unless the package requires a signature.

first cementups is on the money, never look in someone's house. that being said, had a stop with a nice 60% slope 200 yard driveway, a stop that gets ur calves in a uproar, and far enough that occupants cant hear you pull up. walked up driveway and right in the front picture window sitting at kitchen table is a gentleman with well over an ounce of pot rolling joints, clear as day. Made eye contact, took couple more steps to door, set pkg down rang bell and left. None of my business

There is a certain non-english speaking baseball player who gets his Japanese porn magazines once a week. Maybe we should start RTS'ing it on morality issues.

Maybe if you could read the articles, it would be more interesting.
