Default Policy vs contract

Im wondering what everyones take is, there are some details in both books that are left out other, so does if something written in policy overide the contract (if its not stated)? and vice versa?

Default Re: Policy vs contract

The contract is the law as far as I am concerned. If it is not covered by the contract, then the company policy takes president. If company policy conflicts with the contract, the contract trumps the company policy.
