God forbid our ankles get sunburned though! |

I said thanks for the en"lightening" advice.
We also had the poison ivy one, I displayed my body so everyone could see what it looks like (what poison ivy looks like, not my body) And I never saw the stuff either, I think someone was burning it. Darn had they given that PCM a week earlier, I could have been saved, Not.

Rep Power: 27031 | Re: PCM last night in so cal Here's the deal; UPS is required to have a Safety Commitee in order to comply with an OSHA mandate. So they form the commitee which means creating a budget for it, and that budget must be spent. Of course, UPS does not want the Committee to have any authority or to ever actually accomplish anything; this could result in unwanted attention being paid to unsafe equipment, dangerous facilities with inadequate egress, or unfair production standards that force employees to work at an unsafe pace. So instead, the Committee is given nice, safe busywork to do like handing out fliers and water bottles or inventing new word games to play. That is why we get the silly PCM's or the endless acronyms to memorize; to keep our attention diverted away from the real issues that would actually make a difference.

Someone asked how many routes we would be running the next day(JUl 3) and they had no idea.
Lets see 30 drivers at $42 an hour for 5 minutes a day being told not to shoot fireworks in the house equals $525 for the week.
Hey we could have run 2 more routes today... |
