It was my understanding that once I sent the info to the center I would receive the pkg info and it would show up i my edd. none of this happen had to manually type the add. I know this is petty but I was just wondering. |

P-Man | Thanks for the answer P-Man. Next time I'm going to ask for the info. They probably just get piss off at me for asking. |

like if you return to building at 1900 and pkg was scanned at 1920. saying that it had to be this driver that brought it back because it took place after his return to bldg time. never mind the 8 other drivers who came back in between that time as well. |

Believe me, this game is played daily. | Our preload sups occasionally audit trucks by scanning each and every package that is loaded into them. If a driver brings a misload, or any other package, back and gives it to the ECS clerk or just throws it on the belt when nobody is looking then management will know about it. If this isn't done then the drivers that do that get away with it. I've been sheeting them as missed if I can't deliver them. Sheetin misloads as NSN, NSP, NSS, etc., has gotten people fired in other centers.

Don't try to take the responsibility yourself to decide what you think might be quick and easy. Make the phone call, ods or something to get them to decide how to handle them.

I just use my stylus to sign.

LP use to stop us and take the last three pages of your delivery records and do a back track audit.
Same old stuff, just different technology.

I just use my stylus to sign. | I think he means how well it works when someone signs. Some diads work great with little pressure, some you have to bear down hard. Think that must be it.

I do like that option--simply scan the pkg, indicate whether you can or cannot deliver it, and hit send.

Rep Power: 906 | Re: DIAD Upgrades IF YOU HAVE THE NEW SCREENS IN YOUR DIAD THEN THEY HAVE THE NEW TECHNOLOGY.
1) When you scan and send the misload to the center it will show the center:
1. Who sent it in
2. What driver and route it is supposed to go to according to PAS or what the PAL says.
3. Can you deliver Y/N
4. Once it is delivered a green check mark will show on the missed screen (in the center) showing it has been delivered.
5. In the remarks area in your diad screen, type in the address on the package only if it is different from PAL label (either an out of sync or a flipped PAL) THIS STEP IS NOT NECESSARY IF THE PACKAGE IS JUST ON THE WRONG CAR.
The center team must double-click on MISLOADS, at top of screen (yes very complicated) or double click on MISLOADS at the bottom of the ODSe screen. It lists how many and all the information listed above.
Are you getting your edd updated while on road? Are you supposed too? Drop me a PM. |
