My 7 year old daughter just asked me this very question. I told her it's for UPS'ers who want to talk smack about UPS and life in general. This got me thinking about the rest of you people out there. So why do you come to the Cafe? Is this place as addictive to you as it is for me? |

It's this type of riveting exchanges that make me turn to this forum in the backdrop of the 3rd episode of Hannah Montana in the last 2 hours.
The other alternative is to go upstairs and watch the season premier of Desperate Housewives with the wife.

Yes, this site is addicting. I am on here several times a week when time allows between work and home responsabilities. I have learned alot here, from others situations, be it management or hourly. The diverse perspectives are enlightening and sometimes rather annoying, depending on how some like to rant. Its a good way to have a little "me" time, and not vent at my hubby as much about work. Thank you Cheryl and everyone else who contributes here. | |

I check in here just to see how good I have it, with a boss 60 miles away, and no personal contact with him except when he has to ride with me. Plus the satire on this site always makes me forget about all the boneheaded 4 wheelers out there that I have to deal with......

I was recommended to this site a few years back and a few things still remain constant; 1. The company is consistent from coast to coast. Good and bad.
2. In turn, the driver's attitudes reflect as such. Good and bad. 3. This website is an excellent representation of our company's 'vibe'. and 4. No matter the change that is made to policy/procedure/what ever... the driver's move the cardboard so the driver's make the money for the company.
If you are not carrying cardboard then I am carrying you...

Policy and new ideas seem to come from the East, so I enjoy finding out early what our next "2 week plan" will be in advance. The people are laughs for the most part, but you do learn to go to the same people for an honest bounce back on your thoughts. Brown Cafe is cool and I am surprised more people of UPS aren't on. | |
