Columbus sailed the ocean blue
Discovered America?
That may not be true
But I get time and a half
And the holiday pay too!

We kidded back and forth about such things as the Indians trading Manhattan Island for $24 worth of beads and he had such gems as - the best thing his people ever did to get even was to introduce the white man to tobacco. He always closed his auto body shop for Columbus Day just as a joke and I had to work. |

Not likely unless you don't mind riding in snow. 11 months on my side of the mountain is do-able. I don't because I don't like freezing my ass off, but there are many who do.

Fred must agree, because we are always on straight time every Columbus Day. Another benefit of being a Teamster.
