So what does a letter of termination really mean? How long does UPS have to inform you about your termination after your infraction? |

did you go through the whole progression yet? verbal warning, written warning, suspension letter(s), then termination letter? | |

It means the company has fired you. The Union steward should have filed a article 50 grievance for unjust termination. Next step is you, the union, and company will go to panel to discuss getting your job back. Care to talk about it, or are you satisfied with the vague answer? | |

Is it a pending term or did you get taken out of service imediately? The company has ten(10) calender days from the time of knowledge of any infraction to serve the intended discipline to the Employee. Either in person with a Union representative present or by registered mail, depending on which case we are talking about. | |
