Vacation Pay

i work at ups in canada and was just wondering when they give you your vacation pay. if you don't take a vacation do they just put it on a paycheck? if so can you choose when you get it?

Why don't you ask someone in Canada? Do you have a sup you report to?

Supervisor what no...we don't have supervisors in canada..lol im just wondering if anyone knows, obviously you don't but thanks for the nice response.

I can't say for sure how it works in Canada, but in my hub if you don't pick out specific weeks for vacation you will be selected weeks that are available and will recieve a check whenever those weeks were set. I know in my hub ususally those weeks are selected for you in Oct. and Nov.

If you are trying to cash out your vacation, which I don't suggest. Then jyst tell your sup to put you down for a specific week and then tell him you are going to work thru it. They LOVE that!!!!
