Rep Power: 53 | "Trip" or "route"? When I was a driver up north, I just assumed that the UPS term for delivery route was "trip" because that's what we all called them... Jim's trip, Frank's trip, etc. But down here, everybody uses the term "route" instead. Just wondering if it's a regional thing. What do y'all call them? :confused1 |

I had to move for my wifes job, and the new "local"
center had 2 full time positions open.. and I couldn't get diddly...
I even offered to start over at bottom rate.. (still good money)
So I'll bide my time, the local has like 4 guys retiring soon. |

I was a FT driver who moved for purely personal reasons. Tried SOOOO hard to get transferred but that truly is a myth, it just can't be done. So I started back at the bottom but luckily promotions to FT happen quickly here. |

Thanks to all for your input on this! |
