Default Daily guarantee on a holiday?

If you work a holiday as a full-timer(4th of July) are you still guaranteed your 8 hour shift?

To clarify what DREWED said, you will get your 8 hrs holiday and you will get the hrs you actually work on fri. Yes, he is right, unless you force the issue and work your full 8 hrs, you will only get paid the hrs that you actually worked.
