That is hilarious. One thing I learned from this job is that some people will lose their damn minds over parking. Most of the houses in my area have driveways and garages but a lot of them have boats and RV’s parked in them, so everyone parks their cars in the street. This makes parking very limited. When I do find a spot to park so I can walk off the 8-12 stops on the block I’ll have someone pull up and wait for me to move in no time. They will literally sit there blocking the street just to wait for that parking spot. I get, “Yo! When are you gonna be done?!” and “Hey that’s MY spot!” all the time. If I’m not parked here I’m blocking the street so you’re just gonna have to wait or park somewhere else. Had one lady go INSANE because I parked in front of her driveway to deliver to her house. Coincidently it was a box of Hello Fresh I was delivering, just a different Karen. She pulled up behind me and honked as I was getting out of the truck with her crap food. “WHY ARE YOU BLOCKING MY DRIVEWAY!?!” So I can deliver this to your house, is that alright? “NO! MOVE NOW! NEVER BLOCK MY DRIVEWAY!” I said alright, I set the box of Hello Fresh on the hood of her Prius and walked back to my truck as she was screaming at me, “HEY! WHAT THE HELL?! HEY! HEY!” As I drove off I was watching my mirror to see her reaction. This woman didn’t even get out of her car to get the box off her hood. She was so mad that she just gunned it into her driveway causing the box of Hello Fresh to go flying off into the street. It looked like some liquid crap in the box exploded because the pavement got all wet when it hit the ground. I was laughing so hard I had to find somewhere to pull over to contain myself. Anyway, whenever I get Hello Fresh boxes I’m always prepared for the worst.
