If your local gave you a option to give half of your raises to get $400 more a mouth and $100 more at the fifth year and the company was contributing 10 years worth for five years.

Is is that a good deal?

As for myself.........it would be far better to put my raises in my own 401k. The teamsters ran our pension into the ground! im not throwing in good money after bad!...jmho
