Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 4364571" data-attributes="member: 24302"><p>My Native American heritage makes me susceptible to diabetes, which I didn't help by eating the wrong things.  But I also did without a car for many years, walked as much as 3.5 miles each way to work, and ran all day on the job.  At 6'2" 215-235 I was solid.  My downfall came when I quit FedEx at 35 to try delivering travel trailers.  I sat all day driving but still ate like I did when I was working hard all day plus all that walking.  I ballooned up and became diabetic.  Only recently was I back down to 235 but gained a bit back doing the driving job.  At 250 now and am eating one meal a day with few carbs.  Hardly considered decadence compared to what goes on in gay clubs in San Francisco.</p></blockquote><p></p>
