Can a 22.3 clerk/ air driver Go outside their job detail and cover a full-time air shuttle driver ?
Do they still hold their seniority as a air driver and get to cover said full-time air shuttle spot over part-time air drivers?

(9) Movement of air packages to airports and other locations such as service centers, UPS buildings and driver meet points. Shuttle work currently performed by regular full-time drivers shall be ex- cluded. Should a regular full-time driver vacate a position which includes air shuttle work, that job shall either be rebid as it previ- ously existed and continue to be paid at the regular driver rate or the air shuttle work may be combined with other air work to create one (1) or more full-time air or full-time combination job(s) paid in accordance with Section 6 below. In no event shall such shuttle work be assigned to a part-time air driver

I believe this is in reference to RPCD work only.
Not a actual full time bid Air run?

Realistically, it’s in reference to part-timer air drivers doing what was already a full-time shuttle job. it is my understanding that full-time air drivers can cover full-time shuttle jobs. Part-timers cannot. and I believe that also includes full-time Air combo jobs.

If you bid a ft job you will be guaranteed 8 hours and not have to constantly beg management for more work.

Beware, though... Many places, if not all, have a part time progression, and a full time progression.
Bid a full time job from part time top rate, and you might be back at starting wages for your new full time job.

(The unspoken, unadvertised reason PT_Carwasher ended up working 35 years as a part timer.)

At my building you would keep your higher PT wage when bidding a FT job with a lower starting rate.

I figured that would be the response. The whole time you've gone on and on about what you have been getting away with, I tried to warn you that you were asking for trouble...

Little did I know, every other air driver in the country would suffer the consequences, while you just keep on trucking.

I didn't "get away" with anything. I worked as directed and used my seniority.
