Authorities: 400 guns stolen from UPS facility
It’s in the post....
It’s there, click the link.
Inside job? How would they know what to look for?
No guard shack at this facility
Damn, and no one questioned them?
Definitely an inside job. Remington has warehouses in Memphis so they probably get bulk shipments going through the building fairly often.
I’m sure it was planned for a while, my question is, who did they sell them to?
jack up that reward.
Any gun buy back programs planned in your area?
The vote yes movement.
Brooks Rd is the UPS Freight facility.
That explains a lot.
I’m looking for a nice new rifle for deer hunting now that I’m retired if anyone has any good deals. Just saying
Seriously though you couldn’t pay me to have a stolen gun. I just got out of prison (retired from ups) I ain’t going back
File off the serial numbers, grind & polish, stamp new numbers and now its no longer stolen!
We had a part-time supervisor steal about 160 handguns out of my hub in the mid 1990s. Shortly after that, handguns had to be shipped by air. I don't know if that's the current procedure. I know rifles are shipped ground. When I first started driving, I had a warehouse on my area that shipped hunting and fishing supplies to department stores. Before hunting season started, there were a few times when I filled up a P-1000 with nothing but cases of rifles and ammo. I had so much weight on that car it would hardly go.
It was at the U.P.S. Freight facility, not U.P.S. package hub .
We just lost that account
Ups boss says Don't bring weapons into the building!
I say I'm good. The weapons come to me inside the building.
Even prison doesn't take away the turkey
