Inside job? How would they know what to look for?

Definitely an inside job. Remington has warehouses in Memphis so they probably get bulk shipments going through the building fairly often.

I’m sure it was planned for a while, my question is, who did they sell them to?

We had a part-time supervisor steal about 160 handguns out of my hub in the mid 1990s. Shortly after that, handguns had to be shipped by air. I don't know if that's the current procedure. I know rifles are shipped ground. When I first started driving, I had a warehouse on my area that shipped hunting and fishing supplies to department stores. Before hunting season started, there were a few times when I filled up a P-1000 with nothing but cases of rifles and ammo. I had so much weight on that car it would hardly go.
