767 President Wesley J Resigns

Word on the street is that Wesley J**** of 767 resigned out of the clear blue.
Any insight on this?

Yeah kinda weird. He was literally just talking at the last union hall meeting and you would have never guessed he would be stepping down.

He and a business agent resigned. I believe it was planned for at least a week or so prior to. It was a combination of issues from what I hear.

i recieved a letter from the union announcing his resignation. i threw it out and cant recall the name of his replacement.

hopefully the new guy does a good job

Most times. When one resigns out of the blue sky. There was probably a side deal made. That he just walks away. With NO outside investigation. Jmo

Doubtful. Billy always stood firm on the contract and didn't believe in "side deals".

Really?!? I didn't know him personal but from the few times I talked to him he didn't seem like a back door deal kinda guy.

Managements opinion of billy? They thought he was great. That should tell you enough right there.

The union has had lots of positive changes in last month.
