I live in the southeast where the heat and humidity can be so tough but it's really not so bad once you adjust to it each year. First week is brutal..after that it's just another part of the job. Drink lots of water before, during and after your shift. Eat light during the day and listen to your body. You know when you need a break and are getting overheated. You know who I feel for? Those guys that are laying roofs and doing yard work all day in the sun. You ever wonder why it's mostly immigrants doing that work? It's because we are raising a bunch of wussies evidently.  Oh and Happy 4th.
