Making $30+/hr is a pretty good reason. And the chance to make $40/hr in a couple years.

Would be better to be a RPCD. Same job. No weekends and have 9.5 rights etc...don't see many PTers in my building taking a 22.4 job. Nobody wants or isn't qualified to drive. There is no wait to go driving. Majority are off the street hires.
