Act Two

"...that is why he refused to concede the election. His next move requires exporting tens of millions of followers with him to his new venture, and the way to do that is to keep pushing the notion that he was not defeated, that he has the secret truth, and that he will share it with his chosen elect for $9.95 a month.

You might laugh at the idea that Trump can convince America the election was stolen from him. But consider that while a quarter of a million Americans died from the coronavirus, Trump had the vast majority of Republicans convinced the pandemic was “overblown.” If Trump can pull off such a shameless act of blatant trickery, he can sell the idea that a few hundred thousand ballots were illegitimate; even Eric Trump—even Jared—could do it."

But wait! There's more:

"And that’s not close to the craziest things Republican voters believe. Of Republicans who have heard of QAnon, 38 percent say the conspiracy theory is at least “somewhat accurate.” I would not bet the milk money on it, but I suspect that three months from now a greater percentage of Republicans will believe in QAnon than believe that Joe Biden was the legitimate winner of the 2020 election.

A political party that includes a significant bloc of voters so deeply estranged from reality cannot be anything other than a source of mischief—and worse."

Overblown death toll by lumping in covid positive people that died from other things.
It’s like having the flu, getting in a car wreck and them saying the flu killed you. It’s non sense.
The death rate for this thing is like .2 and mostly for the elderly. You people are such pusillanimous.

This is a mistake that got caught and addressed only because a health professional semi-blew the whistle on the thing by saying one of the two twenty year old covid 19 victims that week was actually a motorcycle crash. The guy got removed from the list.

It leads you to wonder how many of these mistakes have been made and gone over looked.

I saw where a guy who fell off a ladder was counted as a Covid death. Nobody knows what the real numbers are.

It will be fine

It only leads you there if you’re a conspiracy believer. Those of us that live in objective reality don’t care much about minor clerical errors.

OK, that's them. Which reality do you live in? You know the election was rigged and you don't care. This is why the right worries about the Left. You'll say or do anything to have power and control. The main reason Trump won in 2016 isn't that Hillary was a flawed candidate. It's that the Left is so arrogant that they didn't believe they could lose. Trump caught them by surprise. This time they were ready. Not to win legitimately, they knew they couldn't. They rigged this election, pure and simple. No Russians needed. No matter that it violated the Constitution because they only believe in using the Constitution if it serves their ends. If it doesn't they just ignore it. Better rule wisely because if you screw up even the Democratic electorate will turn on you and they know better than to believe results that don't jibe with "objective reality." They know crooks when they see them because they're supporting them now to get Trump out.

Evidence? None, that's what I thought.
