I don't think Amazon is doing it, think it's the 3rd party sellers on Amazon.

But the adult stuff is different. Sometime it's just a envelope, a lot of the times it has the lithium battery disclosure on the box.

No I agree. It's all kind of random . But for me it seems mostly some type of electronic equipment.

Last April when the toilet paper shortage of Covid peak was at its height, I had a single roll of toilet paper, NDA and Adult Signature Required. The dude came to the door and was like, yeah I just spent $75 for that.

Yep mostly 3rd party sellers. If they dont participate in one of Amazons programs that they offer this covers their rear for non receipt etc.
