oh the delivery stations, where they put boxes in delivery bags to be put into delivery vans, not the sortation center, which is the parttime building nor the fulfillment center, which is the full time building, also called distribution center. They had that shift back about 5yrs ago when I used to work in a delivery station. Yeah that time frame at night really sucks, I mean it wouldn't be bad like 11:00pm-6amor7am but 1:30am-11:30am. How can anyone get any sleep in. But at $17.30 and it being full time, the paycheck is fat for the work load which isn't that heavy compared to other places like cough GIANT distribution where you have to lift heavy cartons of boxes and a rate of 450 carts per hour. The delivery station always busy during the night, that's when all the boxes get put into the delivery bags before delivery from around 8pm-6am all the boxes are received and thrown into delivery bags. Than the bags are put into the vans until around 12pm before they are sent to be delivered. It gets really slow after that and the delivery station is reset up by another crew during the day. The delivery station isn't all that bad, but they are adding fulltime opportunities which they never had, that's one great thing. Its nothing like the fulfillment center with a manager breathing down your neck about production and error rate waiting to write you up if you get more than 3 errors each day or less than 350 items per hour. I do hope they do raise the hourly rate instead of being stuck at the 15.50 for new employees.
