Amazon is launching a package-delivery service to compete with FedEx and UPS
Amazon to launch delivery service to rival UPS and FedEx (report)
Already being discussed here:
Is this news to anyone with a pulse?
You being sarcastic? This has been discussed a time or two I think.
Number 1: One of their drivers took a dump in someone's yard.
Number 2: See number 1.
Number 3: Their awesome drivers in my neighborhood throw boxes over fences, toss em under bushes and leave em on sidewalks.
Number 4.: They are poaching UPS's best part-time sups.
So based on all that, they are off to a lovely start.
Best part-time sups
I bet the talent pool is small for that one
Amazon is gonna buy UPS right? And give us all raises, right? And take us to Mars, right? Best delivery people in the industry from what I hear, cream o the crop.
amazon is just focused on big cities right now, wait until they start delivering in the country
Oh wow! I didn't see this coming for ages.
I heard FedEx and UPS are gonna merge. They're gonna call it FEDUPS!
actually it will be called upurs
there are no best part-time sups
Amazon will have to settle for least best
That's what management is saying too. lol
fixed it for you
Lol Elon Musk and Bezos are now one and the same?
May as well be, the way the neckbeard set drools over both of em. But no, Amazon owns Blue Origin, another "we're going to Mars" rocket enterprise. Not holding my breath.
Please don't associate me with UPS management.
Ups & Fedex should scare amazon and tell them to F off and shut them off for few months , bury them !!
They need us more than we need them !!
Oh it would for sure bury them in short order!
When people would attempt to drop off misdelivered parcels from Laser Ship ( amazon ) at the CC , I would first them " not ours " and when asked to whom they should contact about it , " I don't know " , namely because there was no return address on the label .
Sometimes they would tell me by how many blocks the parcels had missed their mark .
The odd thing is Amazon is also starting up same day delivery from Whole Foods .
