[QUOTE="bacha29, post: 4123692, member: 58386"] Going all the way back to my high school class, it too had it's own little caste system . Those at the bottom were the kids who came from nothing, had nothing and therefore were projected to amount to nothing, the group i was part of and some never made it through to high school graduation They either simply didn't have enough raw intelligence to make learning easy or where in living environments that were too impoverished and or too violent to make getting ahead as easy as it was for those born to better domestic conditions and of course a better learning environment Needless to say those at the bottom of the order learned to keep to themselves while the upper crust kept to themselves as well. Of course in the years that followed there were class reunions but believe it or not the kids at the bottom of the peaking order who graduated and went on to lives of modest but honorable achievement despite near zero parental support ....well.... to no ones actual surprise they weren't even invited to the reunions. There's simply no denying the fact that the socioeconomic divisions that existed 40 plus years ago still exist today. The only thing that might be different is that there seems to be more have not's than have's than before and the temperaments of the have not's are not getting any longer or any more restrained.
