[QUOTE="toonertoo, post: 204550, member: 1944"] I believe the assumption was the dog was spooked by the slashing of the water, thats my guess, but Sammie is correct and people dont get it. I would bet us drivers, the mailmen and all the other delivery drivers are the most cautious with our pets at home. My dog doesnt bite me, your dog doesnt bite you. I would bet my paycheck my dog would never bite a soul, But I know her and in a moments notice a click of my finger brings her to my side. Wether its a rabbit or a cat, or a squirrel she wants to chase, a click drops her in her tracks. Too many people have pets to show off, and have no control of their animal. If you dont have time to train it, you should not have it. But thats like talking to a wall. A person who has an animal should not have it charging the door, and fighting it off when trying to open a door. Those are the ones who have to come out to their truck to receive their box. Its simple, if you cant walk it on a leash and be the boss, open your door and have authority, tell it when its OK to go pee on a tree, or see a person, you do not have control, and you should not own it.
