No one is denied services because they can't pay.

As for student debt, people knowingly enter into legally binding contracts and are expected to be able to manage their own debts. Only a hack looking for votes would suggest that the government step in and use other peoples money to pay off the loans. In that situation nobody wins.

regarding student debt, theres lots of times when you should write off the debt. old societies did debt write offs because debts always grow faster than an economy's ability to pay bc of compound interest.

you just had a debt write off for wall st post 2008. think its worth 10 trillion, it was about 5 trillion before the pandemic.
