[QUOTE="vantexan, post: 3876563, member: 24302"] Tops in productivity in almost every place I worked. Repeatedly asked not to transfer when I put in for one. Last location manager was also over a small group in another town and when I retired she offered to let me do similar to what you're doing there(not FO). The thing you can never quite grasp is if they weren't going to give us decent raises then I was going to try and find a better situation to enhance my pension and savings through more overtime. But only in smaller cities, not fond of big city life. So either ended up with mgrs telling there was plenty of OT, when there wasn't, or sometimes conditions changed or were pretty bad to begin with. Yeah, I know, you'll find something to slam here. But I was single with no obligations, took advantage of the transfer program in hopes of finding something better. But the better only came right before I retired. I'd rather be poor, doing what I'm doing, than have to work until 64 to top out. And it would be years before I could save as much on the job as I can in Colombia. By the way with FedEx having financial issues, offering buyouts, etc don't expect them to give 3% bonuses to top out or adjusting the steps either. People on the steps ought to be thankful they're getting that. After a year of hard work many of us got 30 something cents raises for many years. They had it rigged where we were looking at 30+ years to top out. It's going through that that made me want to leave with my pension as soon as possible. Health issues just guaranteed I was leaving.
