[QUOTE="705red, post: 242286, member: 5229"] Chan whan i started in the early 90s, i must have had 5 or 6 ftime jobs, and every time i looked for a job all i had to say is that i am currently employeed at ups, the interview process would end and i was always offered the job right then. However times have changed huge, now most of our new p-timers dont have any work ethic and that now turns into friend-timers with no work ethic. Like many here we worked 2 and 3 jobs to pay the bills with little or no sleep to support our family and in doing so it made us all better people in general let alone great employees and taught us respect in life. I only hope that things turn around soon or we are in serious trouble because what i described above has helped to give this company the reputation it has today but it is slipping fast! I am proud to work at ups but over the last 2 years or so its getting harder to look the customers in the face and explain why i cant del/pu to them at the time they would like because we have a couple routes busted to save on our bottom line and show no regard for the customers business. I understand that we discount the big shippers qvc, amazon, walgreens etc to the point where we dont make alot of revenue off of them but we treat the ma and pa shippers who pay full rate like we dont care about them and they are our biggest source of bottom line, mike i hope you and the board are reading this!
