Don't they send them all to "clone" school?

This way if you close your eyes and listen to them the message is the same.

Sorta like feeder sups spending 3 weeks in Chicago.

Indeed we do. We modeled our brainwashing program after the one created by the teamsters.:happy-very:

I'm guessing that the "Walk of Shame" is a very public escort out of the facility by security? If I'm right, we do the same thing. Just by "coincidence", they bring the fired manager back during the AM Sort/Load and get to watch them be led to his/her desk and then be walked back out with a boxload of personal effects. This takes 2 security people.

IMO, this is very demeaning and unnecessary, especially when it's a case of someone just not making their numbers (no theft, embezzlement, etc).

Haven't heard about any CMs biting the dust here at P-Dale. Maybe it's the Atlanta Hub? I have heard that there is a possibility that we will be trimming our Dispatch Supervisors down to 3 from 5. That ought to be a barrel of monkeys watching people that don't know areas at all trying to move things around. Definately see alot of over 9.5's in our future.

Our dispatch is done from the lenexa facility, 3 hours away, by a guy who has only been here once in his life, for 1 day!

They just started this last week, I do not know how its working out because I am on vacation this week, Can`t imagine it being good though!!

Newest info : Seems that a certain Division Manager ( Lets call him George Jefferson ) was walked out yesterday along with several on car sups....... that was a helluva walk of shame , i would have loved to watch that.... All the sups were dirty SOB's that violated (or tried) our members at every chance and supervised by intimidation and harassment.. I really hate for anyone to lose a job but this group got to experience KARMA firsthand...
and as for old George the DM he was using his position to gain positions on certain female employees... what a dog!!! I will not miss him , whatta ***** BC (not Boston College)

Telematics is supposed to 'help' do away with the need for all those pesky on-road managers and extra center managers. Why else would they implement a system that allows them to 'observe' our day from the comfy confines of an environmentally controlled office while the drivers are actually making money for the company...

1 Division Manager terminated.

1 Business Manager terminated.

1 Business Manager demoted to on-road sup.

Several other supervisors terminated - both full-time and part-time.

Massive reshuffle of management between Pleasantdale, Atlanta, and Forest Park.

Seems to be some serious integrity issues with management. Hopefully this will be a wake up call to all management in the GA district.

This second "cleansing" surprised me. I have seen CMs go for creative record keeping for years, so this isn't unheard of. I was surprised that one of my Hub's CMs was moved over there to take over one of those Centers yesterday.I have known "George Jefferson" for all of my 34 years at UPS. He ran the Gray Secondary as a PT Supervisor on the Midnight Sort at the old Atlanta Hub back when I started. I figure he is over 55 now. I never had any problems with him, but then again, I'm not a female hourly employee. I have seen a lot of that in my years, we had my FT PAS supe get canned last year for threatening his SPA girlfriend that was half his age. I thought that it was wrong for management to have affairs with hourly employees, especially when they are married.

So thats why everybody had the "deer in the headlights" look the last two nights. I will miss the MISSmanagement of Pdale that adds 150.00 a week to my take home.

I say we call them all back. Just till we're done cleaning up the mess the floods left behind.

Nah, we don't need that. I still have to deal daily with some of the screw ups that one of these CMs made years ago when she was still an OnCar. No DR Code 4s on $20 claims? Good riddance on a couple of these.
