Stored rolls of electric wire burning was what I heard on TV.
Betcha they are going to be inspecting anything stored under these elevated roadways.

Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal has declared a state of emergency after a portion of Interstate 85 collapsed as a massive fire burned on I-85 near Piedmont Road Thursday evening.

I bet the PLEGA dispatchers are in there trying to figure this out - both package and feeder.

Gotta take the Mrs and daughter to the airport next week, they're heading to NY for a couple days to see some shows. I'm guessing the North Springs Marta Station can still get to the airport. Might just drive them straight there taking 285 south. We live in Cumming so 400 to 85 was our original route.

Sometimes you wonder if these things aren't unreported acts of terrosim.
I read they were storing pvc piping under the bridge for some unknown reason. They had to have a foam fire engine come from the airport to put out the flames.

My question is what cost saving reason was the piping stored under the bridge for?
