Back Pay

    Do they back pay raises from Aug. 1st once a contract passes?

    Once a new contract is ratified. A retro check "should" be issued within a reasonable time frame...if not included in your next check.

    Question - say you are on vacation after Aug. 1st - vacation checks paid in July- will you get back pay for when you were on vacation as you were an employee - or is that not allowed? In other words, are you only reimbursed for actual hours worked August 1st and forward?
