nothing, i was just hoping for a definitive yes or no based on the contract. But it seems likely up to the center manager

There is a chance i return during the bid sheet posting anyways. It will be close

A center manager doesn't have that kind of authority....

It would need to be approved by the Labor dept.

A center manager could put his name on the list at the time it is posted.

In our local you must be present to sign a bid.

After awhile you will realize you can never get a definitive yes or no answer from anyone about anything. When in doubt:

    1. Sign all bids you are interested in--you can always remove your name before its taken down
    2. Never take anyones word as gospel on Brown Café because half of the poster are just talking out of their butt and the other half have the wrong information.
    3. NOTHING at UPS is carved in granite. One person will get away with something that the next guy is fired for.
    4. Ass kissers eventually find out management will screw them over just as soon as the next guy.
    5. Runner gunners (see above) will burn out quick or get injured and the company don't care. You're just a number.
    6. If you are looking for correct information (usually) call your local and ask them.

In the Central, you have to be able to start the route within 10 days of winning it.
