I slammed my shoulder into it and heard a black guy cussing his head off.&nbsp; He kept trying to turn the deadbolt.&nbsp; Had a key.&nbsp; It was the previous tenant.&nbsp; Cops came, took my statement and my wife&#039;s separately to see if they matched.&nbsp; My neighbor told the cops she was awake and heard the whole thing.&nbsp; If I had gone to sleep there&#039;s no telling what might have happened.&nbsp; Of course you&#039;ll scoff and laugh and ridicule but I know a bit about what it&#039;s like to have someone attempting to break in while you&#039;re in bed.&nbsp; We didn&#039;t live in a slum.&nbsp; It was an average apartment complex in a nice area.&nbsp; Turned out Tucson doesn&#039;t require changing locks when a tenant moves out.&nbsp; We tore up our lease and left.&nbsp; Yeah, nice story bro.&nbsp; Until you&#039;ve been in such a situation you don&#039;t know how you&#039;d react.</blockquote>
