Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 4610840" data-attributes="member: 24302"><p>There have been contrived events that have happened for four years.  Why would I think it would be anything but worse going into an election?  But this wasn't contrived.  Trump put himself on tape knowing how bad the virus was long before doing anything serious about it except banning travel to China.  For once instead of refusing to admit Trump sometimes steps in it I'd like to see our Party demand better of him.  Some do, like Tucker Carlson.  I'd like to see him act more like Reagan and not indulge in petty sniping like he does on Twitter.  I don't think that's too much to ask.  The man takes delight in poking his enemies in the eye.  Not building bridges.</p></blockquote><p></p>
