The figment of your imagination is to ignore that trump’s cdc wanted those businesses closed, and that lot of states not ran by democrats carried out shutdown orders and that regular people not wanting to get coronavirus so they stopped going out not because of shut down orders but because they didn’t want to get sick and that those rational decisions to cut back on going to restaurants, or clubs, or flying or whatever is what hurt those businesses.
