They are building a huge FedEx distribution center in my area, and I wanted to know if they will give package handlers full time since every FedEx company near that area will be moving there and the facility will be huge?

opco? FedEx GroundThat's not how it works. What opco is the building?
Ground has very few full time package handlers. In the new buildings everyone is promoted into their positions so it will run like garbage for a while. If you get hired at open you can move up quickly because a lot of people quit.opco? FedEx Ground
Do they get benefits?Ground has very few full time package handlers. In the new buildings everyone is promoted into their positions so it will run like garbage for a while. If you get hired at open you can move up quickly because a lot of people quit.
Part time after 1000 hrs not sure about full time. Takes over a year for part timers.Do they get benefits?
Since I already work at a FedEx Ground, will I have to reapply at the new location? The one I work at will relocate at the new location.Ground has very few full time package handlers. They are shutting down your current building? Normally they just put up new ones and keep the old ones going. I'd ask your manager.Since I already work at a FedEx Ground, will I have to reapply at the new location? The one I work at will relocate at the new location.
yes, in a couple of months the new one will open, and many other fedex companies will shut down and move in the huge one. They are shutting down your current building? Normally they just put up new ones and keep the old ones going. I'd ask your manager.
If it's like Express you'll have the option of working at the new building or leave the company. When I was in Texas a station about 100 miles from us was closed and their rts were divided among 3 stations including ours. Couriers there had the option of following their rt to new station, transferring to another station, or leaving company. We actually had several couriers commute to our station from that area.Since I already work at a FedEx Ground, will I have to reapply at the new location? Ok, if is a hub, 20% of the package handlers will be full time. Also the option of QA as full time, however that would only be hub package handlers not the local. if the building is a super terminal then only full time if you operate an otp (over night transfer point). They are building a huge FedEx distribution center in my area, and I wanted to know if they will give package handlers full time since every FedEx company near that area will be moving there and the facility will be huge?
