As always, WE hourlies are getting the "blame" for the current meltdown, even though it's all on Memphis. All the threats, OLCCs, letters and the rest of it cannot fix a company that is bereft of decent leadership, but that's what they are trying, because it's all they've got. Who outsourced customer service? Who created and implemented DRA? And who thought-up all of the stupid other crap like RTB, no clocking-in until 5 minutes before start time, and on and on? MEMPHIS DID, and then they directed their mindless minions at the station level to enforce it like the Gestapo. It is obvious that Express is imploding, and that they are flailing away like drowning rats trying to save themselves. There is zero accountability at the top, and no defense mechanism for us, so they attack with everything they've got in an attempt to blame US for their incredibly stupid actions and policies. Based on the criteria for Gross Leadership Failure, they should all be gone...but they're not. In fact, the Five Star Awards are probably still flowing, along with the bonuses and other perks...for effing this opco up beyond recognition. Amazing, to say the least. Based on what I'm seeing, it's only going to get worse, because we are led my morons who are now obsessed with saving their own skins. How soon before Wall Street gets a whiff of all of this? If everyone would WAD and do everything else in their power to screw-up the system, soon Express will be bleeding money like a stuck pig, which is exactly what we should want to happen. Perhaps, just perhaps, the incredibly piss-poor "leadership" of FedEx will be exposed, called-out, and hung in the press like they deserve. Ground is keeping the ship afloat, and those profits are disguising the rot beneath the surface, the fecal stain that is our upper management "team". Time for some Clorox.
