    I've never worn boots.

The redwing king toe are pretty good, composite toe works great when those damn 50 lb Detroit axle boxes fall on your foot from being shelf loaded (label says 10lbs btw).
Shoes wise I really like the keen Austin and Merrell moab adventure luna. Only last 6-8 months with daily use though.

  6. Sketchers makes a steel toed athletic style shoe that I wore when I worked the primary unload and helped unload. Lighter than a boot and a lot cooler when the summer heat kicks in.

Sketchers has some good work shoes. They usually give me about 7 good months. $49 before the ups employee discount of 30%.

If you need good boots for the winter I recommend Dryshods. They are like muck boots, but constructed way better and lighter. Worked in below zero temps all day today with just a regular pair of socks and my feet never got cold.
