She may have to renew the forum software also then. I would guess if she doesn't find a buyer she may let it go next renewal time which wouldn't make much sense I mean something is better than nothing right?
She'll find a buyer. Question is whether she'll be a seller.

I have been locked out of this site for a fat minute because the emails wont work with gmail
made a yahoo account and finally just got logged back in twas pissing me off for the longest time...
Thank you Shaco! I was locked out too. Finally got priveliges back thanks to you! I saw the issue being discussed, but it was frustrating that people weren't offering help to the people having this problem that couldn't ask for help like me.

I'm pretty sure server space is by the year. Now the forum software could be different, but not likely. When the site goes down every June-July that appears to be server.
servers can be purchased monthly. xenforo is by the year. Good think about xenforo is that the renewal cost is only 90.00 for the year.

Should add that my license also includes the gallery add on.

Some of this post is true, but it is very much overoptimistic.

Xenforo costs roughly 325 bucks to get the plugins necessary to run this site.

Web hosting runs at least a hundred dollars a month here as of right now. I know who their provider is, and my understanding is we are on dedicated hardware. And the kicker? The site is still struggling with the load. Put this onto shared hosting, and we couldn't handle 1/10th of the database the site has.

Cloudflare alone is running this site 25 dollars a month.

All of the fringe stuff you aren't thinking about for scaling is what ends up killing you.

There are ten recurring bills that are required to keep the lights on here.
Guess I post too much

My bad.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.
I’d throw him through a window if I saw him at a party.
