@FrigidFTSup you dig into the numbers?
Yeah, some interesting stuff that kind of made me scratch my head. They really need to get the discounts under control. One bright side is they have really done a nice job growing the international export business. I know that was a big deal last year. Fantastic source of revenue, especially on the customs broker side of it.

You want a toe? I can get you a toe.
I saw a lot of negative stories on UPS because their numbers didn't meet their projections.

UPS made a ton of money but not a crapton of money.
The big knock I've seen is Wall Street is affraid we are stuck in a cycle of forever spending more money to keep up
With demand.

Ummm since when is investing in your future bad?

I always had the problem of sales reps making deals UPS won't make money on just so their own numbers will look good.

Plus they will promise customers anything withing going through operations to confirm whether its even possible.

Wall Street loves tech stocks or anything that is fashionable. Regardless of whether they are making any money or selling an actual product.

Wall Street is in an anti capital spending mood the last year or so. They want bigger returns to shareholders. It's why Amazon has been getting jumped on at earnings time.

Asset lite are buzz words that they love right now

We had that issue out in Minny because we only had so many guys in town to cover pickups. Here we could actually benefit from some more. But agreed, there isn't enough communication between the two.
